A valid Standard First Aid certification

 

Recertification:

A valid First Responder OR Advanced First Aid certification prior to your course date

It is valid for 3 years following the competition of your course

 

Please note: BLS is a component included in the First Responder course. Even though the First Responder certification is valid for 3 years, the BLS component within it is only valid for 1 year, therefore it is strongly recommended to re-certify your BLS every year and your First Responder every 3 years
